Neida Arrington, the Wylde Center’s new special events manager

The Wylde Center recently announced that Neida Arrington will oversee private rentals at the Oakhurst Garden and the center’s additional public green spaces.  Wylde Center facilities may be rented for birthday parties, weddings, baby showers and other celebrations year-round.

Because the garden only hosts one party at a time, the special events calendar fills up quickly, and Arrington encourages anyone interested in renting the facility to learn more at www.wyldecenter.org/hosted-parties/.

Interested in taking classes at the Wylde Center? There are several options left in August, including:

  • Saturday, Aug. 16 – Basics of Seed Sowing
  • Sunday, Aug. 17 – Earth Poetry with Stephen Wing
  • Tuesday, Aug. 26 – Pest and Disease Management
