4th of July Sale Lolli pop

5. Cakes and Ale restaurant will host its inaugural “Independents” Day meal on July 4. This family-style menu will feature products from some of the C&A’s team’s favorite independent wine, food, and beer producers, and guests will have a prime spot to watch the Decatur fireworks. 6. Kimball House is celebrating the Fourth on its front porch with Kimball House hot dogs,, BBQ, Three Taverns beer, fried peach pies and other cool things. Bring a chair and have fun at 5 p.m.

  • After 12 years, Blue Moon is closing on Church Street. Their closing sale is 11 a.m.=6 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sundays through Sunday, July 21. Everything is 30% off and all holiday items are 50% off. Some displays will be available for sale beginning Tuesday, July 22. Stop by and say good-bye to Terry-Lee and her team.

Chai Pani One Year Anniversary – An Indian Street Food Fest

Spend the weekend checking out the Lexicon of Sustainability artwork (photo above) at the Decatur Visitors Center and on the walls at Leon’s, Cakes & Ale, Chai Pani, and Farm Burger. Make sure to pick up a punch card at any of the five locations and the four participating restaurants will provide you with a weekly treat on Tuesdays in June.

Souper Jenny brings back its famous Lobster Rolls this Saturday for the rest of the summer (every Saturday). Also, the shop is also now carrying daily pressed juices from its sister store, Juicy Jenny.
