Tomorrow is the first Wednesday of August so we’ll be testing the tornado outdoor warning sirens at 5:00 p.m. The test should last approximately one minute. Should the weather become inclement, the test will be postponed until Thursday, 3 August 2017.

Since most of north and central Georgia is under a wind advisory until 10:00 p.m. tonight, the April test of the outdoor tornado siren system scheduled for 5:00 p.m. today has been cancelled.

The next system test is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3rd at 5:00 p.m.

Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow, the April test of the tornado outdoor warning siren system has been postponed until Thursday, 6 April 2017 at the regular time of 5:00 p.m. The test should last approximately one minute.
