Iberian Pig Logo w outlineWalking back from lunch today we noticed some “action” in the old Sage Restaurant space could not resist peeking in to see what was going on. We had the pleasure of meeting Nancy Castellucci. Nancy and her family will be opening a new restaurant, The Iberian Pig, in the space. The Castellucci Family owns Sugo, which is located in three sites around Atlanta, and are very excited to be expanding to Decatur with a new concept.  The Family has been in the restaurant business for a couple of generations.

The Iberian Pig will feature slow roasted pork as well as a plethora of other items. They are busily creating a new menu for the restaurant and I, for one, look forward to dining there.  One of their sons is a somelier, so the wine list will be awesome as well.  (Of course we had to to ask about the wine! ) They hope to be open by the end of August. If interested, you can visit their website to find more information www.sugorestaurant.com.

Welcome to Decatur Castelluccis!!
