Have you been meaning to submit a logo for this year’s Decatur Craft Beer Festival? Don’t procrastinate any longer as the deadline for submissions is Tuesday, June 15th. Entries must be received in the Special Events office by 5 pm. The selected logo will be used on marketing materials, the souvenir t-shirt, the tasting glass and the festival poster. The 2009 Winning Design: Mr. Firkin!
The Decatur Craft Beer Festival may be months away, but it is time to start thinking about the 2010 logo. Last year we had over 30 entries and each year the committee has a harder time selecting from all the great designs. There is so much talent in this city!!
The selected logo will appear on the 2010 festival t-shirt, commemorative glass, and marketing materials. For information please visit the Decatur Craft Beer Festival website. All entries must be received in the Special Events office by 5 pm on June 15, 2010. How creative can you be?

The remaining tickets for the Great Decatur Craft Beer Festival went on sale at 9 am this morning and sold faster than hotcakes. The event is officially sold out and no more tickets are available. Thanks for such a great response to this awesome Fundraiser.

The Great Decatur Craft Beer Festival will be accepting grants from non-profit organizations through August 10, 2009. The Decatur Beer Festival has awarded over $300,000 in community grants since its inception 12 years ago. Grants have benefited organizations such as The Dekalb Rape Crisis Center, The Oakhurst Community Garden, the Decatur Education Fund, Our House, I Care, Trees Atlanta, The Decatur Cemetery and many more.

The Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival is accepting logo entries for the fall 2009 festival through Monday, June 15 at 5pm. The selected logo will be used on the souvenir T-shirt, the tasting glass and the festival poster. Two previous winning logos are seen at the left. Yes, it is that time again….time to design your entry for the Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival logo!
The Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival is looking for a logo for the fall 2009 festival. The selected logo will be used on the souvenir t-shirt, the tasting glass and the festival poster. Last year’s winner was Lauren Lee, of Lampe-Farley Communications. Her design can be seen at the left.

The Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival was held last SAturday in the City. The weather was great and the attendees all seemed to have a grand time. I have included some photos from the set up in the morning with some of our great volunteers, as well as photos taken by Bill Mahan, our “professional” photographer. As you may know, the GDBTF benefits local non-profits and community groups within the City of Decatur.
