Tax Free Wkd 2014

Boogaloos Boutique is celebrating the tax free weekend by covering your taxes on all merchandise – even the items that don’t qualify. Big Peach Running is doing the same and wrote a poem in honor of the weekend:

A special occasion that happens once a year
The Georgia Sales Tax Holiday is cause for big cheer!

The law lets you save tax on apparel and shoes,
If the price is less than $100 on whatever you choose.

We think that’s fine, but we can do better,
Which is what promoted this week’s extra newsletter.

No matter what you buy, no matter the price,
Sales tax is one us. . . isn’t that nice?!

The holiday runs today and tomorrow,
And missing out would be cause of great sorrow

Whether you run, walk, hike, or take the bus,
Sales tax on everything is totally on us!

Trinity Mercantile & Design Co. is having a store-wide sale. Up to 75% off of everything from upholstery to lamps.

Mingei World Arts will be open this Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. Stop by and check out the owners’ new finds from India and Nepal.

Sq/Ft still has tons of shoes on sale and just got a bunch of new merchandise in.

Souper Jenny is having a Back to School Bash this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. There will be face painting, psychics from Cafe Jonah (Souper Jenny’s sister restaurant), live music and more.
