– Join us for Truckin’ Tuesday at Legacy Park Tuesday, May 18. Gather your friends, family, blankets, chairs, and most importantly, appetites! The area’s best Food Trucks will be offering up their delicious fare. There is plenty of space for families to gather while remaining socially distant. The goal is to bring people together safely and at the same time, benefit local non-profit fundraising efforts. This event will repeat weekly every Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m.
– The Decatur Youth Council has rescheduled their Carpool Cinema from April 24 to Tuesday, May 18 at Decatur Legacy Park in conjunction with Truckin’ Tuesday. Showtime has been scheduled for around 8:15 p.m. Bring your blankets & chairs and pick-up dinner from one of the food trucks then join us on the big lawn to watch Disney’s Lilo & Stitch. This activity no longer requires attendees to be in a vehicle. If you have a DYC “Carpool Cinema” ticket, bring it to the DYC tent between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and claim your snack bag. After 8 p.m., snack bags will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
