Decatur was really out to scare the pants off our judges this year! Thanks to all of the residents and business owners who have gotten into the spirit of Halloween and made our City even better than is already was! Judges saw everything from ghostly goblins and creepy cemeteries to menacing monsters and spooky spiders! They even saw a full-on haunted bone yard over on Adair Street…

Congratulations to all the winners! I love seeing my Decatur neighbors celebrate this fun holiday. Isn’t it the best? No pressure to buy gifts or cook or figure out what gifts to buy for picky family members. Just dress up, pretend to be a superhero or a cuddly dinosaur, and walk around collecting goodies from all your friendly neighbors.
