Street milling, repair and resurfacing activities are scheduled from Aug. 18 to Oct. 31, weather permitting.
Work will be performed on the following streets during this time frame:
- Forkner Drive from Church Street to Sycamore Drive
- Kirk Road from South Columbia Drive to Avery Street
- Madison Avenue from Johnston Place to end of Street
- Nelson Ferry Road from Scott Boulevard to West Ponce de Leon Avenue
The City’s contractor, Stewart Brothers., will be performing all of the required work to mill, patch, resurface and replace street humps with speed tables on these streets and will post signs on each street three days in advance of the start of construction. Please note: ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE STREET DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS, 7AM to 6PM, WHEN WORK IS PERFORMED. Vehicles parked on the street during the posted times are subject to towing. PLEASE WATCH FOR THE POSTING ON YOUR STREET.
