A leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and care for more than 15 years, DeKalb Medical is asking residents to mark their calendars for the annual cancer screening day on Saturday, Oct. 4. The event, held the first Saturday of October, will take place at both the DeKalb Medical at North Decatur and Hillandale campuses from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The screenings are available at free and reduced costs with services including: prostate screenings, skin cancer screening, mammograms and clinical breast exams.
