- Decatur Architectural Walking Tour | Tuesday, Aug. 17 • 9-10:15 a.m.
Take a tour and explore floor plans, house types, and architectural styles of some of Decatur’s historic gems, spanning 1830 to 1965. The tour is outdoors with a total walking distance of about one mile, and lasts about an hour and a half. Meet in the Historic DeKalb Courthouse lobby for the start of the tour. Tours will happen rain or shine!
Some stops include: Decatur Library, Stamford Apartments, Cora Beck Hampton House and School House. Visit dekalbhistory.org/programs/decatur-architectural-walking-tours/ to purchase tickets and for additional details. - Fleet Feet Wednesday Runs | Wednesday, Aug. 18 • 6:30 pm.
Join Fleet Feet Decatur’s Wednesday Run club for 2, 3, & 4 mile routes every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The group meets in front of Fleet Feet Decatur, 431 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., and the courses start and end there. Afterwards, the club regroups and walks over to a local business for socializing and special discounts.
On third Wednesdays, the club heads over to East Decatur to support Three Taverns Brewery, 121 New St. The group meets up outside the brewery, and the courses start and end at there.
Sign in at the tent in front of the store (or the brewery on third Wednesdays) and grab a map! All runners and walkers are welcome. Water will be provided post run. Please plan accordingly if you need water on the course. Masks are encourage pre and post run.

Join Decatur Parents Network for a virtual discussion on mental health, including:- Nurturing resiliency, confidence, and compassion
- Confronting depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and risky behaviors
- Transitions (big and small)
- Intersection of mental health and substance use
- Promoting wellness in a highly competitive social and academic environment
- Stress management and coping skills

- Fleet Feet Saturday Runs | Saturday, Aug. 21 • 8 a.m.
Join Fleet Feet Decatur on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. for an open group run. The group meets in front of Fleet Feet Decatur, 431 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., and the run starts and end there. Upon arrival please check in at the table in front of the store, acknowledge waiver, and grab a map. Various routes are offered. Bathrooms are available. Water is not available on the course so please plan accordingly.
