There has been a severe thunderstorm warning from Decatur’s Smart911 automated system. In addition, wind gusts of 60-80 MPH are predicted which may result in tree failure and downed power lines. Decatur’s arborist, Kay Evanovich, reminds the community to please use extreme caution around trees today and tonight.
In addition, W. Trinity Place at Atlanta Avenue will be open today because the Milagros Collective, the artists who are finishing the mural on the MARTA Overpass will not be painting today because of the rain. They are pictured below at work yesterday.
