A contractor working the N. McDonough streetscape overhaul has hit an unmarked powerline on North McDonough Street, just after noon today, knocking out power to a significant portion of downtown Decatur, including Decatur High School.
No injuries have been reported. Georgia Power is on scene and repairs are underway.
