Concerts on the Square are back for a second week and teh Decatur Business Association is proud to welcome The Rainmen to Decatur. The Rainmen specialize in 60s and early 70s upbeat, danceable, and fun rock ’n’ roll tunes. The group, comprising long-time veterans of the Atlanta music scene, has been playing together at clubs, festivals, and events for more than a decade to steady audience acclaim. As drummer and music connoisseur David Michaelson says “there are still a lot of people around who want to hear ‘real rock ’n’ roll’.” Although the musicians don’t take themselves too seriously, they do provide serious fun for the people who come out to their shows. Energy, great song selections and solid delivery are the keys to their success.
We’ll see you on the Square at 7:00pm on Saturday
Will there any diversity in future Concerts on the Square performers?
The Concerts committee always stives to have diversity in the music selected. You can see the entire line up of Blue Sky performers here (http://decaturdba.com/events/blue-sky-concerts/) and Concerts on the Square performers here (http://decaturdba.com/events/concerts-on-the-square/)
