The Purpose:
Former Mayor Bill Floyd is chairing the host committee for this event, saying “Decatur’s Kitchen Garden was special for me during my last few years as Mayor.” The Global Growers Network broke ground on the garden in March, 2012, at Decatur’s United Methodist Children’s Home. Since then, they have made great strides, but they have big plans for the future, and your participation in this event can help.
