PushPush Theater’s Charlie Adair sends along this description for its summer camps:
This summer is going to be a lot of fun at PushPush Theater. Because 2011 is the anniversary of Tennessee Williams, we will be celebrating his work throughout the year. Our summer production will focus on his later writing, and specifically, a play about ghosts, zombies, and making true friends!
Williams wrote several fun comedies and our camp shows will feature some incredible writing for both stage and film (Williams is one of the most influential writers for American cinema.) The production is broken up into 20 individual scenes with many more main roles. This will allow campers to find partners on their own level. It will also provide even more film scene work for the actors.
The first camp is June 13 – July 1 and there are only 5 slots left, so please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. This may be the first year we reach capacity. There are more slots in the second camp, July 11 – July 29.
Ages: 8 – 12 and Teens 13+ (participating separately)
Call us at 404.377.6332, or email us at pushpushtheater@gmail.com to let us know your plans.
Sounds like fun! It almost makes me wish I was a teen again so I could attend the camp. . . almost 🙂
