Begin Saturday morning with a bit of exercise…..put on your running shoes and join hundreds of runners in this year’s Tour deCatur Road Race, beginning at 8:45 am. The race will start in front of the new Decatur High School Auditorium. For more information on the route and how to sign up, click here.

Plus, Young Eliot has just declared that any customer who can name more world capitals than he can in 10 minutes gets the single CD of his or her choice, purchased by Eliot himself. A world capitals challenge, people! It doesn’t get more fierce than that. Take him up on it!
On Saturday evening from 5 untill 10 pm, stop by the Decatur Gallery for an opening reception featuring local artist Jen Singh. The Gallery will provide light hors d’oeuvres and beverages during the reception. Plus, if the weather is pleasant, they’ll open the outdoor artist market in front of the Gallery. The event is free and sounds like a nice way to end the evening.
The Marlay House, formerly known as The Grange, will start their St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday beginning at 5:30pm. Live Irish Music outside, weather permitting, as well as pipers and Guinness. Their website says it is a warm-up for next Wednesday’s celebration.
