Jennifer functions as the police department’s public information officer and community relations officer. In this role she manages crime prevention and public education efforts by hosting and developing presentations and classes for the community, based on its needs. Jennifer started with the Decatur Police Department in 1996 and has served as a communications officer, patrol officer, business district officer, child safety advocate and investigator (though not all at the same time). She supervised the Criminal Investigation Division from 2009 to 2013. An alumnae of the 2012-2013 ADL Glass Leadership Institute class, Jennifer received the Thomas O. Davis Public Servant Award in 2004.
This is very interesting. Decatur is really lagging behind Atlanta and Avondale with their HRC score.
This is a great way to inform the community on what’s going on in the area!
Hello, do you know of any New Years Eve events (e.g., countdown, fireworks, etc) in downtown Decatur for tomorrow night? Thanks, Michael
Hi Michael,
Check out the NYE post from yesterday. No fireworks, but plenty of events!
