Catherine Lee and I went over to the Corner Pub for dinner on Tuesday night, and were pleasantly surprised to find that they are re-using plastic bags for take-out orders. We both got bags from the DeKalb Farmers Market, while the gentlemen sitting next to us got a Target bag.
Going green doesn’t have to be difficult, even for restaurants. It can start with little steps as simple as re-using old grocery bags.
Kudos to them. Good idea.
Excellent idea!
The Universal Joint in Oakhurst has been recycling to-go bags since its inception as well! They also offer a reusable to-go bag and nix the “to go” charge when customers bring it in.
